  • All three professions can easily overlap in similarities when treating and managing patients. They all three use manual therapy and exercise to treat the muscles and joints to improve the musculoskeletal system. However, the differences lies in what each profession primarily focuses on. A physiotherapist focuses on exercise prescription to rehabilitate the patient. The chiropractor focuses mainly on the spine to improve the nervous system and body alignment. The osteopath however, primarily focuses on how different systems of the body are linked to one another and treats these areas alongside area of complaint. This approach helps the osteopath to get to the root cause of the issue.
